Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation and Overton Insights published results from a joint statewide survey of likely Texas voters. The poll gauged Texans’ attitudes on a variety of public policy issues ahead of the 90th Legislature, including:

  • Grid reliability
  • Election integrity
  • Assimilation of immigrants
  • Local data center bans
  • License plate reader cameras

The poll also measured support for candidates in the upcoming November elections and the 2028 presidential primaries.

The text-to-web survey of 1,167 likely Texas voters was conducted from August 24–26, 2026, with a ±2.9% margin of error. Crosstabs are available here.
