I’m excited to officially announce my campaign for Texas House District 129!
As a lifelong Gulf Coast resident, conservative community leader, and advocate for coastal protection and economic growth, I’m running to fight for Texas jobs, secure our border, and defend the conservative values that make our state strong.
With deep roots here in our district, where I grew up and chose to raise my family, and the support of trusted local leaders, I’m ready to bring a strong, results-driven voice to Austin.

Scott Bowen for State Representative
“A lot of people have asked me about this, so I’m glad to be able to confirm: I am running for the open House District 129 seat being left by Dennis Paul as he runs for the Texas Senate!  I’ll release more information in the coming days, but my focus will be on building a local economy that works for our families, lowering property taxes and insurance rates, world-class schools that prepare our children to excel, and a conservative state government that protects our values. I’m honored to have the support of Senator Mayes Middleton, Reps. Briscoe Cain and Cody Vasut, many local leaders, and over 2/3 of our district’s precinct chairs as we launch this campaign. Thank you for the support and God bless!”
